HipHopDX (4 out of 5)
Summary: “While these two unearthed gems are welcome additions, the majority of Ghostdeini The Great is loaded with tracks that, while heavy in verbal darts, have already seen the light of day elsewhere. Ghostdeini isn’t an album than it is a reminder of the indelible impression Tony Starks has carved in his career. Unfortunately for those who already own most of Ghostface’s archives, heads may avoid this one.”

Summary: “Ghostface has easily been the most consistently active member of the Wu-Tang Clan, releasing excellent hip-hop albums such as The Pretty Tony Album , Supreme Clientele , Fishscale , and More Fish . It would have been nice to get some new songs from him, rather than these rehashes, but it’s impossible to deny the strength of these songs. They were, and still are, excellent. There’s not one bad song on this album.”

Summary: “And probably due to underemployment, I even spent a significant amount of time listening to More Fish. But I can’t see myself spending very much time with this. A good half of the tracks on this are songs you’ve heard a million times before. And a lot of the ones that are labeled remixes sound like the same old songs, with new (and yet mostly worthless) verses copied and pasted into them.”
