PEEP THIS: “Pennies” (Cool Kids)
I’m pretty hyped for the release of the Cool Kids full length joint When Fish Ride Bicycles. I like the track and its good to see they have a little scratch behind them – at least in their video budgets. Heads knock Cool Kids for their sound – which critics seem to think of as biting – but I see it as bringing that old school sound back, flipping it and making it their own. What’s more hip-hop than that?

Cool Kids always have that bass. “Black Mags” is one of my favorite joints for that reason alone. I think their album will be an event.
