CLICK ON IT: “10 Reasons Why Lil’ Wayne Will Never Make It As A Rock Artist”
With “Hot Revolver” and “Prom Queen” assaulting the airwaves, I came across a great posting, via TSS, on the Top 10 reasons why Weezy F. Baby will never make it as one of those rock dudes. Broken Cool breaks it down. Of course, I only have one reason: his rock music is hot garbage.
Some highlights of the case against Wayne, rock artist:
- He kisses dudes
- He can’t play guitar
- Even he think many folks won’t dig the new direction (ya think?).
My personal favorite: that his drugs aren’t hard enough. And I quote:
“Lil’ Wayne drinks cough syrup and fruit punch…that is not Rock…it never has been and it never will be. In order for it to be a Rock vice, it needs to go up your nose or in your arm. Sorry…those are just the rules. Rock historians will never look back at Lil’ Wayne’s habit of drinking Dimetapp. Rock vices are supposed to make you trash hotel rooms, sleep with hookers and fight cops.”
