5 Rappers Who Are Thankful For Rick Ross

Peepin You Suckers

There are a gang of rappers who must be thanking Big Baby Jesus himself that 50 Cent has found a new outlet for his frustrations and turned his eye to annihilating Ricky Ross.  While Fifty is busy murking Officer Ricky’s career (and some serious collateral damage on rap music itself),  it does provide a golden opportunity for others to move ahead in the rap game.

Cam’ron

Thinks its just a coincidence that Cam decided to make a boatload of public appearances now that the coast is clear?  With Officer Ross in the crosshairs, Cam doesn’t have to worry about a war on two fronts.  Now he can commit all of his energy to putting Dip Set’s career path into a downward spiral.  Oh wait…..as you were.

The Game

I’m pretty sure that The Game is keeping his bank account proper by lending himself out as a consultant to Ricky.  He can stay at Scott Storch’s Florida house rent-free (Scorch owes him for that L.A.X. pity track Game bought), where he can school Ross on how to survive an onslaught from Curtis.   Not sure how good Jaycon is with anime, though.  Maybe he’ll teach him how to cry on camera.  When 50 turns away in disgust, then its time to kick some back.  Word to Homer J.

Young Buck

Speaking of former crew members, Buck now has the all clear for his 615 mixtape project.  If he moves quickly, he can have it out on the streets, dismissed and forgotten about before the beef between Ricky and Fifty is even finished.  If he’s really lucky, 50′s accountant will forget to garnish Buck’s proceeds of the mixtape so he can finally move out on his own.   Buck’s roomate is a real jackhole.

G-Unit

Of course, 50′s own crew must be happy that the Boss (not “BAWSE!”) has found something to keep him occupied.  That way, there’s far less attention on their piss poor efforts to actually move records.  If they go at Ricky extra hard, maybe Fifty will forget about the last two mixtapes from Yayo and Banks (everyone else has) and allow them to keep their jobs.

This recession is tough.  How’s a 45 year old ex-rapper and a 30-something punchline king going to find honest pay for honest work in this market?  If I were them, I would personally volunteer to have my fingerprints placed on a variety of weapons in case 50 needs a fall guy worked out in advance.  At least that way, they’ll be guranteed a roof over their heads in the future.
