Jacked from Hip-Hop Update.  I thought I would draft an important message for all of my affiliate bloggers out there.  If you are looking to post up a review for “Padded Room”, which drops this Tuesday,  its important to know that there is a better than average chance that Joe Budden will read – and possibly respond personally – to your review.

In this case, Jumpoff takes issue with one very specific portion of a review on Hip Hop Game where the reviewer (Culture VI) mentions that “In My Sleep” is probably Joey venting about his frustrations with the music industry.  Budden spends 2 and a half minutes explaining that he is NOT frustrated – at all.

I respect artists who are as accessible as Joe Budden, but I don’t think this is a good look for Joey.  There is such thing as being TOO accessible in this game.  When a reputable website posts a positive review (4/5) of your latest album, the best way to show you catch feelings easily is to jump on your flip cam and respond to such a minor part of it.   The best part was when he swears up and down he “doesn’t give a f*ck” about what goes on in the music industry – he just makes a video about it.
