“Stay Up” Behind The Scenes > “Stay Up” The Video
MTV2 just released a behind the scenes feature from 88-Keys’ “Stay Up” music video. For folks who get gassed by cool special FX, this is a pretty dope video. In fact, this is significantly better than the actual video itself. Actually, instead of 3 minutes of Kanye and Keys acting like old men (Get it? Viagra! Man, this thing just writes itself!), its 21+ minutes. I guess the video is unique – you don’t see that many rappers shooting videos after they spend the better part of a day in a make up chair.
Am I the only one that has noticed that the material around the videos (trailers, snippets, making of, behind the scenes, etc) are actually better than the videos themselves? Now that I think of it, when did it get to the point where videos need trailers? Even if they are Hype Williams productions, they’re still videos, folks.
