Dr. Dre Is A Big Fat Liar
So, everyone is all gassed up that Dr. Dre is finally talking singles for Detox – an album six years in the making. “Dre confirmed it! He’s really going to do it this time!” goes the chorus of fans still waiting breathlessly on this album – sounding like battered spouses (“He’ll change. He’s really a good person.”).
Rap Radar even has a video where Dr. actually says he’s going to release a single in two weeks and then drop the album this year. But as the more knowing heads are quick to point out, we’ve heard this before. How many times before?
Just for giggles, go onto your friendly neighborhood search engine and type in “Detox”, “delayed” and your favorite year. Google will spit out a cornucopia of search returns where the good Doctor is burdening us with bad news that his final album is being pushed back – again. I’m with most of ya’ll – I believe it when I see it.
Although in combing through the various posts, one thing did did occur to me. Dre delayed Detox to concentrate on Eminem’s Relapse, but not 50′s Before I Self Destruct. That has to hurt a bit. Poor 50. At least he has his movie career. He’s hip-hop’s Vincent Pastore.

fuck you Dr. Dre is THE best
It has actually pissed me off so much to the point that i now have huge expectations for this album… No doubt it will sell a heap but im actually thinking it may not sell as much as some people think.
Think about it one of the worlds top producers taking 10 years since his last album. There better not be one wack ass song on this whole f*ckin album dre!
thats where i think dre messed up everyone is gonna be waitin for this album there gonna love and if its not good to them Dre will officially be history like on the walls with Elvis, Cher, NWA etc
