Blogger/Pundit B-Double has been a fan of hip-hop since the first time he heard “Raising Hell” by the legendary trio Run DMC.
It hasn’t been the easiest path to remain such a devoted fan of hip-hop. His family definitely thought he was crazy when he was bumping Public Enemy’s Yo! Bum Rush The Show on a trip when he was a young teenager.
And he was the only one performing a rap song in the air band performance in high school and he definitely stood out hosting the weekly funk radio program “Hot Buttered Soul” in the school cafeteria.
But B has endured the strange looks and snide comments of his peers for his love of hip-hop. Throughout that time, he has seen this thing called rap through the golden era of 1988 and the lower, more recent low points of ringtone rap and 2 dimensional MCs.
Through Your Favorite White Boy, B-Double brings a unique and distinctive voice to the raposphere. Never short of opinion, his goal is to provide real and informative commentary on the latest music, trends, gossip and events in the world of hip-hop.
